are there any plans to implement iSer Target support in TrueNas/FreeNas ?
With ESXi supporting this now this might be a good selling point since there seem to be little to no alternatives on the classical ZFS systems. Of course there is support in Linux (and Windows) but if these are not target platforms...
I would assume that with the performance increase of local drives this should be the next step in bringing the performance to the remote system...

We're considering some changes this year which may include down the road iSER support. Closing for now, but stay tuned later in 2020.
