FreeNAS does not respect AD Groups Permissions

      Description

Hi all! I think I found a pretty big bug!

      Configuration:

      • Two domain controllers running Server 2019

      • Freenas Joined to domain

      • Windows Machines joined to domain

      • Ubuntu and Fedora machines joined to Domain

      • Macbook joined to the Domain

Situation: In 11.2 everything was working fine. Upgraded to 11.3 last night and could not access any of my shares on Linux unless I gave the shares Everyone Group permission. I noticed everything was working fine on my Windows clients.

ACLs are as follows: Owner: DOMAIN\Administrator (Full Perms) Group: DOMAIN\Tech Users (Full Perms)

My profile (DOMAIN\ikantspelwrdz) is a part of the Tech users group in AD.

Bug: Freenas does not respect Domain's group permissions on Linux / OS X Workstations.

Workaround to support theory: Add user DOMAIN\USER to share and give them full permissions, so it should look like this: DOMAIN\Administrator Domain\Tech Users Domain\ikantspelwrdz After doing so, Everything works as expected.

Can somebody with a similar setup confirm this for me? I can provide screenshots or further information if asked. Thank you!
