I have been having permissions issues on all of my shares for the past week or so, and have not been able to figure out the issue. It seems to be a similar problem to ticket
The issue started on 11.2-U7 when I created a new SMB share with the same permissions as the rest of my SMB shares. After creating it and assigning permissions, I was unable to access it or any of my SMB shares any longer. FreeNAS is joined to the domain and pulls domain information such as users and groups normally. However, no matter what account I use I always get permission denied on those shares on both Windows and Linux boxes, even with Full Control granted to everyone@ and my AD account set as owner. I eventually upgraded to 11.3-U1 (by doing a fresh install and importing the pools) to see if the issue resolved, but I am still having the same problem. I also have one NFS share that I am able to mount and read, but one of my servers is not able to write to it, even with everyone@ given full control. The shell also shows permissions as drwxrwxrwx+.
I can provide any additional information or screenshots as needed, just let me know! Thanks!
