Description
I'm having an intermittant issue where my SMB shares are going offline. I've noticed it four times.
1. When I updated from 12.0 BETA 2 to 12.0 BETA 2.1, my SMB shares went offline
2. When I saw my shares were offline, I downgraded from 2.1 to 2.
3. When I upgraded again from 2 to 2.1.
4. When my system unexpectedly rebooted.
When I performed one of these three actions, My SMB shares went offline.
-
On windows it tells me I have the wrong username and password.
-
On Debian is says access denied.
-
On Ubuntu it says the host is down.
To resolve this issue, I need to go into the GUI and change the password for the owner of the share. I don't need to change the passoword for a different password, I can "change" the password and set the new password to the same password as it is currently.
