In your attached files I see a lot of calls from TrueCommand still, though we had agree and disconnect the TrueNAS from TrueCommand to better validate the results and find the culprit.
Other than that I really see much else. We are already working towards TrueCommand putting less pressure on TrueNAS.

Noticed I had a WordPress jail I had recently set up and was testing. It was set to autoboot. I've turned this off. Not sure if this was affecting startup behaviour so I've updated the graph on the blog post and resubmitted the debug and midctl files.

Noted.
Not a lot. According to the CPU usage graph, TN settles down quite quickly. However, TC paints a completely different picture. Do the TC development team need to be made aware of the issue? TC and FN seem to work reasonably well together, TC and TN don't seem to agree on the CPU usage pattern.

, please do not look on system load metrics. It is unreliable when CPU is idle, since due to the way it is sampled it is often aligned with some other system events and reports more load then there actually is. Use only real CPU usage.
This makes 12.0 appear sluggish on minimally specced hardware, but also suggests that power consumption is higher for 12.0.
