kerberised NFS service fallen over

      Description

      Hi,

Kerberised NFS had fallen over killing NFS connections from about 60 linux clients.

A restart of the service got things working again but I need to quickly understand why this went wrong. Is this a config issue on my part or a failing in FreeNAS?

This was a server side issue and not client side. The clients were reporting the following issues:

Sep 29 12:28:58 linclient rpc.gssd[25590]: WARNING: Failed to create krb5 context for user with uid 0 for server nfs@freenas-server.fqdn
Sep 29 12:28:58 linclient rpc.gssd[25590]: WARNING: Failed to create machine krb5context with cred cache FILE:/tmp/krb5ccmachine_LCN.UCL.AC.UK for server freenas-server.fqdn
Sep 29 12:28:58 linclient rpc.gssd[25590]: WARNING: Failed to create machinekrb5 context with any credentialscache for server freenas-server.fqdn

      Thanks,
      Fab
