Autocomplete api doesn't find user created groups beyond limit

See attached screenshot, if I change the limit to a higher number such that the query will find and display all groups up to the ones in question it will find them, but as it is it will not.  This query has or at least did work for AD/LDAP users beyond the query (I don't currently have a bound system to test this with).
