Description
I updated Scale nightly and managed to connect my Eaton UPS and get report (via email) as well as from the command line via "upsc ups".
Consistently after an update of nighlty, the ups service report is not working anymore.
Situation is as follow :
UPS service is on, properly working and reports are sent by email if power is down ofr go back.
I update and then the service ups seems to run but is disconnected:
- upsc ups reports : "error : connection Failure : connection refused"
- emails are sent every 5 minutes saying the same connection error.
To make it work again, I tested a few things in the UPS service gui, changing things and being able to save ups configuration (with the waiting circle appearing in the screen.
In my current conf, EAton 3S is the UPS type and driver was/is the "usbhid-ups$3S". Bug appear with port set as "/dev/uhid".
I changed port to "auto" and see for next update if same behavior is there.
It seems that after an update the connection to port and/or the driver is not loaded properly (configuration lost ?, identification of connection changed?, timeout?).
