Hi,
I had a similar ticket before (in U1 I think) and there were two findings,
1. memory errrors (i still have them, but they are informational messages according to Supermicro due to me mixing different memory ranks)
2. Some issues in TNC that caused boots, which got fixed in U2.
I am experiencing reboots again; I have seen watchdog messages in IPMI but the reboots also occur when i disable the watchdog action (ipmitool mc watchdog off). I am not sure why thats on in the first place, watchdog in Bios is tuned off.
Now a recent change I made is replacing my CPU with a 6242, o/c it might be that this CPU is faulty.
The thing is that the reboots only seem to happen under load, and while thats not proving that it can't be the cpu its not saying it is the cpu either.
So I assume it can be
bugs in TNC
CPU issue
something else.
I've seen more reports of random reboots, so I thought I'd raise a case instead of simply waiting for the next update, even if my issue might be a local one.
Thanks,
cheers
