GRUB install: error: filesystem 'zfs' doesn't support blocklists

Description

Forum user TimoJ reports an upgrade from CORE U5.1 issue on bare metal

I had the same error / issue in a Virtualized Test Environment. Forum post is here

Both of us were upgrading from CORE U5.1 to SCALE 21.08.BETA.

I also can't generate a debug report from Scale since I can't install it (upgrade from Core to Scale).

 /  is there a debug report i can get you from the shell of the installer post-failure? I have the installer at the post-install fail point and if I can enter the shell and get a debug log I would be happy to do so.

I am not sure if Forum user TimoJ is  or not (he indicated he has a Jira account but has never used it before), but if a debug log is required from him I can't help you.

I can't generate a debug report from SCALE as the upgrade fails ... can I get you a Debug from CORE after the upgrade fails on the subsequent reboot or is there a way to generate the debug report from the installer?  If there ia s debug from the installer, just tell me to RTFM
