Running VM shows OFF and state ERROR in UI

Description

I have a VM running on TrueNAS Scale (Security Onion/Centos Linux). It seems to be running fine, and it can be accessed without issue. However, the UI reports it in an ERROR state, but the log file is empty.

Nothing remarkable about the VM configuration, as far as I can tell. A NIC is configured for PCI passthrough, but it works fine inside the VM.

It's been 3 days, and no issue yet. I think the last release has fixed it.

I have the latest version installed now, and no issues yet. I'll give it a bit of time to see if it stays working.

Hi,

Unfortunately it seems to happen after some time passes (hours or days maybe), and I don't know specific steps to trigger it.

From looking at some logs, it seems that there is trouble communicating with the libvirtd service, though using virsh to communicate with it manually still works.

When listing VMs in the UI, there is an error in middlewared.log

are you able to reproduce this ?

I have seen this happen once in a while but the code path looks good but obviously there is some case which we are missing. If you are able to reproduce, can you let me know please and i can try the same steps or schedule a team viewer session in that case ? Thanks!
