Cannot add/apply network interface option

Description

Hello,

when trying to add a media option to a physical network interface, no matter if I advance via ENTER as documented or TAB, the "Apply" button stays greyed out and the option does not turn into a "bubble" like it's supposed to do.

I tried Chrome and Safari, reload from browser multiple times, no change.

Your commit lead me to try to enter a "dummy" IP address as a workaround. Now the form behaves correctly but when clicking on "Apply" I get the following python exception:

So please make sure to catch that, too. See new screenshot for how to reproduce.

The media type is supported by the interface in question and running the command from an SSH session works as expected:

If there is a workaround using midclt, I'd be happy to know. I need this setting for this particular interface.

Side node: editing any interface that is part of my bridge0 via UI results in all jails and VMs losing connectivity. Is this supposed to work that way? Only a reboot fixes it. ifconfig shows all vnet or tap interfaces still as bridge members. I can open a second ticket if this is news to you
