Install on Dell Poweredge R730xd stuck - mpr0: Reinitializing controller

Attempted to install FreeNAS 11.3, as well as TrueNAS Core 12 Beta, both fails with

mpr0: Reinitializing controller

I'm sorry, but without reproduction I am not sure what can I do with this. If disabling x2apic helps – so be it. It should not be important.

There are guesses that disabling X2APIC may just affects some timings, same as reported disabling hyper-threading. It does not help much.

Surprisingly that setting resolved the problem.

I was able to progress with install after setting:

X2Apic Mode: Disabled (see attached picture, with red box highlighting the setting)

Resize issue view side panel
