adf_fd is -2 (AD_SYMLINK) so should be resolved by

afpd core dumping approx every 6 seconds. Message logged looks like this: "May 9 17:01:30 storage2 kernel: pid 99968 (afpd), jid 0, uid 1000: exited on signal 6"
