Memory Reporting does not match TOP

Description

I have an issue of rising Services memory consumption.
This appears to be related to playing recorded content from a Jail.
As a by-product of this it has become clear the the graphs of Memory usage in Reporting do not reflect the display of usage in TOP.
In particular the graph of Laundry is incorrect and should be renamed. It looks more like Services.

I too just noticed this.

 

When comparing the Memory reporting Physical memory utilization graph against top, I see that Wired looks correct, Inactive is reporting something larger than Wired. Laundry seems to be displaying Inactive, Active seems to be displaying Laundry.

And Free memory seems to be correct.

The two screenshots were not taken at exatly the same time, but are close enough to compare.
