This turns out to be a problem with the custom schedule pop-up form. When you enter data in the form it immediately shows on the parent form. If you then click the "Done" button at the bottom of the pop-up form and "Save" the Edit Cron Job form the schedule will be correctly created. However, if you close the pop-up via the "X" in the upper-right corner the data remains in the parent form but is lost when "Save"d. Why would someone use the "X" instead of "Done." The answer is illustrated in the screen shot I've attached. In my case the "Done" button was not visible and could not be made visible since the pop-up form does not scroll. I suggest changing the pop-up to have "Done" and "Cancel" buttons at the top. I also suggest that the new schedule data not be changed in the Edit Cron Job form until "Done" is pressed.

Managed to compress the video. See private files.

That was some kind of Google link to click to see the movie. Just tried to attach as private, but file is too big (218mb MP4). Now what? In the movie I select the only cron task. I change the custom hour from 0 to 7 and close. The 7 then shows in the open cron task which I then save. Cron task reverts to 0.
