Manually killing dhclient and then running does make the DHCP server receive hostname

But the dhclient started during boot does not send the hostname (same for subsequent refreshes)

I grabbed these from the DHCP server (the first time was manually killing dhclient and then running it, and the second time was at boot)

Option 12 not sent during boot

I cannot reproduce this. In my testing, dhclient does send the hostname in the DHCP request. You can confirm in the shell as follows:

You'll see Hostname Option 12 decoded in the request. For example, in my case it was:

If you do not see this from tcpdump after restarting dhclient, please attach the full tcpdump output to this ticket and I will reopen it.

I still have this problem in 202203020601, I believe this is not a build error, the DHCP server can't receive the hostname really affects the use
