Active Directory doesn't allow saving or warn when NetBIOS name > 15 characters

Description

NetBIOS names have a max length of 15 character. If the virtual hostname is set to a longer string, the UI will not let you save Active Directory configurations and doesn't provide a warning.

First screenshot shows the required information entered (domain, username, password) but the Save button is greyed out and there is no explanation.

A warning does show up if you manually edit the field and it is longer than 15 characters (see second screenshot). You need to actually insert or remove a character for the alert to show up; it does not appear if the pre-populated hostname is longer than 15 characters.

This has caused issues setting up Active Directory for users.

It looks like this value is something that came from middleware as there is a frontend validation for this. Given how 15 chars is the max limit, sounds like something that should be addressed on middleware.
