Netatalk 3.1.13 introduced edge-case bug where AFP metadata could be stripped unexpectedly on file read

Reported in upstream netatalk PR. AFP metadata xattrs written with zero-length comment may be flagged as containing invalid metadata resulting in netatalk removing the xattr and writing a new one. This can result in stripping of color tags and finder no longer recognizing alias files.
